RIP Lou Rawls (my karaoke muse)
Rest in Peace, Lou Rawls.
His song, "You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine," has been my signature karaoke song for years. Fortunately, in 2005, I branched out of Soul/R&B by Rawls, White, Vandross, jazz standards by Sinatra, Martin, Darin, and broadway showtunes. Now I can sing country songs by Toby Keith and Travis Tritt and popular songs by James Taylor.
Taylor's "Steamroller Blues" would be a signature song if it weren't so long and didn't have a long instrumental in the middle. I'll definitely have to sing my Lou Rawls this Saturday at karaoke.
